L'University of Genoa adopted IdeaRE's solution for a census and inventory of buildings, real estate units owned or in use aimed at pursuing policies of efficiency and rationalisation in the use of real estate.
In order to comply with the burdens imposed by the legislator and to ensure a conscious, synergic and constant institutional management of property data over time, it was therefore indispensable to adopt an information system such as Reftree that could manage property information across the board, through an integrated platform between an alphanumeric database and CAD floor plans of the buildings, and that had a constantly updated database regarding the real use of the spaces through the managerial involvement of their real users.
This database was integrated with the University's management platforms, Cineca's U-Gov platform, Cineca's Csa personnel management system, the UnigePass authentication system and the Otrs platform.
